Getting Pinned.....

I must confess that I have a pin fetish......I just love to collect them and display them.  The vintage ones are the best........because they all have a story to tell.......let's see.....what have they been up to........hmmmm.......

So elegant and whimsical......perhaps I was worn to church on Sunday......

I'm sure I must have attended a baby shower or wedding shower......

I was worn to a wedding........or perhaps I adorned some evening wear on New Year's Eve......

I must have been out at a luncheon......

I was given as a gift from a boyfirend on Valentine's Day......don't you think?

Snowflakes are always a favorite, especially at the holidays......was I a gift for someone at Christmas??

I was just a busy bee out for an afternoon with the girls.....

Oh, I know I must have gone someplace good!......

Sometimes we all get together just to spend time together!

Love all my vintage pins!

  10. I've been drawn to brooches and pins when I go into Goodwill. I love to use them as embellishments on the different things I make. If I had only known way back when; both my grandmothers had pins like these to fill a box!

    Thanks for your visit, Lynn!

  12. I love vintage pins (or brooches), too. They do conjure up happy imaginings :) My dear mother used to wear them always and I'm so lucky to have a few of hers along with the matching earrings.

  13. Your pins are so pretty! My Nanny use to have tons of costume jewelry pins. As she got older she would bring me and my sister some every visit. At the time I was too young to appreciate them and now wish I had them! Thanx for joining the party!

  15. Love this! I have a few laying around that belonged to my grandmothers. I think of how Victorian ladies would adorn their outfits with pins and interesting accessories! Those were the days - and the hats! Gracious! Just lovely!
Thank you for sharing your pin fetish with A Return to Loveliness!
    God Bless,
    Kathy
