Getting Pinned.....

I must confess that I have a pin fetish......I just love to collect them and display them.  The vintage ones are the best........because they all have a story to tell.......let's see.....what have they been up to........hmmmm.......

So elegant and whimsical......perhaps I was worn to church on Sunday......

I'm sure I must have attended a baby shower or wedding shower......

I was worn to a wedding........or perhaps I adorned some evening wear on New Year's Eve......

I must have been out at a luncheon......

I was given as a gift from a boyfirend on Valentine's Day......don't you think?

Snowflakes are always a favorite, especially at the holidays......was I a gift for someone at Christmas??

I was just a busy bee out for an afternoon with the girls.....

Oh, I know I must have gone someplace good!......

Sometimes we all get together just to spend time together!

Love all my vintage pins!

  1. So you suffer from a pin fedish, it could be worse. I only wish I just had 1 obsession. I love your collection of pins, the first one featured is devine. Visiting from Debbie's Newbie party, drop by for a visit. Kathy

  2. I have several of my great grandmothers pins..I cherish each one. I love how you relate each of yours to a special event. So much fun. Thank you for sharing. Bobbie

  3. I'm your newest follower. I hope you stop by Cottage and Creek and follow back. I love pins and my name is Lynn! AND I love all things vintage. Nice to "meet" you!

  4. Oh, I just love hunting for pins and other vintage jewelry at flea markets. Great finds!

  5. Beautiful pins..I always loved pins. I have a few but not as many as you..I'm now following and maybe you could visit and follow me..we both have addictions for sure...
    Life is good...

  6. I Love pins too! Yes the vintage ones are the best! You have a lovely collection! :)

  7. Absouletly great collection of vintage pins. I wish I had kept mine, but too late now.

  8. Your brooches are lovely, I especially like the bumble bee.

  9. I love vintage brooches too! I'm always on the lookout to "rescue" them from the thrift store!

  10. I've been drawn to brooches and pins when I go into Goodwill. I love to use them as embellishments on the different things I make. If I had only known way back when; both my grandmothers had pins like these to fill a box!

    Thanks for your visit, Lynn!

  11. Beautiful pins, my favorite one is the bee! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog just became your newest follower! Martina

  12. I love vintage pins (or brooches), too. They do conjure up happy imaginings :) My dear mother used to wear them always and I'm so lucky to have a few of hers along with the matching earrings.

  13. Your pins are so pretty! My Nanny use to have tons of costume jewelry pins. As she got older she would bring me and my sister some every visit. At the time I was too young to appreciate them and now wish I had them! Thanx for joining the party!

  14. You are absolutely right. Jewelry with a history is better. Love your stories!

  15. Love this! I have a few laying around that belonged to my grandmothers. I think of how Victorian ladies would adorn their outfits with pins and interesting accessories! Those were the days - and the hats! Gracious! Just lovely!
Thank you for sharing your pin fetish with A Return to Loveliness!
    God Bless,

  16. I love your vintage pins and I agree, the stories they could tell!

  17. HI, Lynn, thanks for stopping by! Nice to meet you. I was in your shop about 2 mos. ago with my sister. I definitely remember that BIG chair. Lovely shop. I've been by several shops in Woodstock & love that there are some great places there now.

  18. You know I love my vintage jewelry and these ones are wonderful! I think all the designs are so fun and different. thank you for joining TTF and have a fun weekend!
