Fit for A Queen

When strolling around the Lakewood 400 show a few years back, I spotted this little pretty tucked in a booth.  We were looking for a bench for our Bischon puppy to sit on, while she looked out the window.  Our mission was to pick out something comfortable enough for her, so that she would fall asleep and stay out of mischief in the house.  But when we got it home, it was just a bit too narrow, so I found it a special place in our front hall entryway......

The detail and curves on it are just beautiful.....

The rounded pillows on the ends are my favorite part.....

And more curves.............

Not sure what period it is from.......do you have any idea???

I so love it......found these cute boxes at Tuesday Morning to sit on the bench....

There's that rounded pillow again.......I can't get enough of it!

Sometimes our kitty, Tulip, will lounge on it when the sun hits it just right.....

Our Bischon, Lexi, has passed on now........but there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her and miss her, especially when I look at her bench.

Thanks for stopping by my new blog..... I hope you will stop by for a visit again real soon........
