"Sunday in the South" is more like a coffee table story book. It has over 350 photographs in it. And I don't know about you, but I need some motivation to cook. And nothing does that better than a great photograph of the dish. In the book the author, Ginny McCormack, shares with the readers her passion for the lost tradition of Sunday dinner with the family. We all get so busy, that sometimes we forget to sit down with our families and just chat one-on-one. This cookbook will have you scheduling a Sunday dinner feast right away!
We invited Ginny to our gift shop for a book signing this Spring and our customers had such a fun afternoon visiting with her and exchanging recipes. Ms. McCormack lives in the Atlanta area with her husband and 4 children.
The cookbook is chock full of some decadent dishes!
And the styling throughout the book is wonderful....
It's like a story book......
Is your mouth watering yet?????
My favorite recipe is her chocolate chip cookie bars. You can find this recipe on her website....and it's really easy to make too!
Many of these photos are from Ginny McCormack's website. And this is just a small sampling of the mouth-watering pictures that can be found throughout her cookbook. Sometimes I get a cup of tea or coffee and just sit and look through it, getting all kinds of wonderful dinner ideas.

ReplyDeleteYum! Let the cooking begin! That looks like a wonderful cookbook. I've found the ones I use most are the ones that were put together the local PTA or churches ... lots of local recipes. Love reading cookbooks!
