Crystals and Gold

I am almost sure now that I must have lived in the early 1800's in my past life......because I just love all things sparkley and dangley!!  My lamps, jewelry, home decor....you name it.  With that said, I want to share with you a find of mine.  This beautiful creation below came out of an estate sale and there are two of them too!

The photo does not do the antique lamp justice.....you'll see why below.....

Look at all those baubles.....

Very stately and elegant.....

Love the dangley.......

And the detail on the structure.....

So charming......

The detailed design on the base is just beautiful.......

Here it is on my buffet with the iron florals from last week.  The lamp's mate is in my living room on a fireplace mantel......and looks really fantastic there too!  They were purchased from someone's estate and I know that they must have loved them as much as I do...... I have given them a good home.....

Thanks for stopping by my new blog and I hope you will become a new follower!

  3. I am not much on shiny, sparkling things, but I would take this lamp in a minute. A very, very nice one. I joined all your other friends a a follower. Also, I would like to mention you on my Pink Saturday. Beverly, our hostess for that day. suggest we introduce a new blogging friend each week.
