The long hot days of summers do have some benefits.......oh just look at those gorgeous hydrangeas.....
And if that is not enough......even the porch planters are singing out with their own glorious blooms!
My favorite planter on my deck is my old leaky fountain below......it's been leaking for years. So when I could no longer fill it with water I was determined to keep it out on the porch. And now as you can see it is the new home for my impatiens........
Flowers, reading and flea marketing are my 3 loves.....in addition to my family.
So I'll be sharing a little of all of the above over the course of posting this year.....hope you will enjoy the journey!

I love your flowers! If I'm not careful the humidity zaps ours and so I try to water them before I leave for work in the morning. Your hydrangeas look great. Mine are only starting to bloom now and I can't wait to cut some for inside!
ReplyDeleteLove the hydrangeas! My mother-in-law has a great bush - she generously shares her blooms! I live in Central GA and it has been so hot and dry! Love the fountain with the flowers - terrific idea!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! So many people have hydrangeas blooming already! Mine are still just budding! I'm crossing my fingers they look as beautiful as yours! Great pics! I came by via Susan's party, but I missed it myself. I took pics of my pergola all dressed up this afternoon (with the 2 hour lull in the rain), and I REALLY hope you'll stop by and take a peak, and let me know what you think of the progress! :)
